We're aware that some users are having difficulty downloading the Halo 3 multiplayer beta via Crackdown. Bungie Studios is working with the Xbox Live team to resolve this as quickly as possible - stay tuned. Gamers entering the beta through other means, such as the Friends and Family remain unaffected.

Pues comentando con Redmondo acerca de este detalle al respecto de que Microsoft y bungie deberían de ampliar el tiempo de disponibilidad del Beta 3 que como ya sabemos terminaría el día 6 de Junio.
Para confirmar esto el Mjr. Nelson acaba de postear los siguiente...

We're aware that Crackdown users have been unable to access the Halo 3 multiplayer beta via Crackdown today.
This was not an issue with the Crackdown discs themselves, nor was it a problem with the Halo 3 beta.

The team at Microsoft has been working on a software update which went live shortly after 7:00 PM PDT tonight.
This update will resolve issues for people using "Crackdown" to enter the beta.

Being that this is a rolling update, the time for the update to reach your console will vary depending on a variety of factors.
We sincerely apologize for the delay. We know a lot of you have been waiting for the beta for months, and even took time off of work to start early today. We really appreciate your enthusiasm, and we hope the small delay won't damper your enjoyment of the game.

Now the better news….you get MORE Halo 3 MP Beta action: Given the circumstances today, we will be extending the duration of the "Halo 3" multiplayer beta from June 6 to June 10, 11:59 PM PDT.
